Companion & Respite Visits
Leaving the house when you have a terminally ill loved one can be a daunting task, and caregivers often sacrifice their own time to avoid leaving their loved ones alone.
I can provide companion and respite care to patients and their families.
Companion care involves spending time with the patient, providing emotional support, and engaging them in activities they enjoy. This can help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation during a difficult time.

Respite care involves providing temporary relief to the primary caregiver, who may be a family member or friend. This allows them to take a break, attend to their own needs, and rest, knowing that their loved one is in good hands. End-of-life doulas can step in to provide respite care for a few hours or days, allowing the primary caregiver to recharge and return to their caregiving duties with renewed energy.

I can engage your loved one in activities, read to them, have conversations, or simply be present in the room while they sleep. Whether you need someone to keep your loved one company while you're busy at home or believe they would appreciate spending time with someone else, I can be there for them.
