Grief Counseling
Grief touches every part of our lives, yet so many people feel pressured to "move on" before they're ready. The truth is that grief has no timeline, no roadmap, and no right way to be experienced.
Whether you're mourning the death of a loved one, facing a terminal diagnosis, navigating anticipatory grief, supporting someone through a serious illness, or adjusting to a major life change, counseling can provide a safe space to process what you're carrying.
As both an End-of-Life Doula and Master's-level Social Worker, I understand grief from both a personal and professional perspective. After losing my husband to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), I experienced firsthand the challenges of caregiving, anticipatory grief, loss, and rebuilding life after profound change. Today, I help others navigate those same difficult experiences with compassion, understanding, and practical support.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll explore your thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and create space for healing while honoring the people and experiences that matter most to you.
While End-of-Life Doula services are offered through Love Me Goodbye, grief counseling services are provided through Ellie Mental Health.
