Veterans & Military

Military service shaped my family's life long before I became an End-of-Life Doula. After graduating from high school, my husband Matt joined the United States Army. Years later, he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), a condition that was determined to be a 100% service-connected disability. As his caregiver, I experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating serious illness, the VA system, hospice care, and ultimately the end-of-life journey.

That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the unique needs of veterans and military families facing terminal illness, loss, and major life transitions.

As an End-of-Life Doula, I provide compassionate support for veterans, active-duty service members, and their loved ones. Whether you're navigating a terminal diagnosis, exploring end-of-life wishes, planning ahead, or simply trying to understand the resources available to you, I can help guide you through the process.

I am familiar with many of the benefits, programs, and support services available through the Department of Veterans Affairs and other military-focused organizations. While I am not a VA representative, I can help you better understand available resources and connect you with the support you deserve.

No veteran or military family should have to face this journey alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you.
